RECOMMENDED SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR COBB MTN. ELEMENTARY 2018

Updated 10:35 am 8/7/18

MS. JENKINS’ CLASS (TK/K)

1 BACKPACK

1 HOMEWORK FOLDER

PAPER TOWELS

FACIAL TISSUE (i.e., KLEENEX)

(WE MAY NEED DONATIONS OF ART SUPPLIES LATER IN THE YEAR AND I WILL COMMUNICATE THAT)

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A HEALTHY SNACK DAILY!

MS. BECK’S CLASS (K/1)

  • A hard cover,  3” wide, three-ring binder (with a clear plastic sleeve on front). Please label this with your child’s name and they can decorate a piece of paper to slip into the front, outside pocket. Smaller ones won’t hold the papers as this binder will hold the majority of school work. It will be sent home at the end of the year.

  • Five paper dividers with tabs.  Please label tabs: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and Self Portraits. These go in the 3” binder.

  • Two pocket folders with the three prongs (any solid color).

  • Two boxes of basic yellow #2 pencils. Please no decorative pencils, as these will be shared amongst our class community and I’d like for them to be all the same.

  • Pack of glue sticks

  • A backpack, clearly labeled with your child’s name on the outside. It is highly encouraged to label the tag on sweaters/jackets as they are often left outside and can easily make its way back to its owner.

  • Water bottle, labeled with your child’s name. This can stay in the cubby during the week and taken home on Fridays to get cleaned.

  • A photo of you and your family that can go on our wall in our classroom. If you’re unable to print, please email photo.

  • Have your child think of a story about their summer that they can store in their head. This way they can be all ready to tell their first grade friends during the first week of school!
