January 4, 2017
The time is drawing near for our annual school garden silent auction on February 4, 2017. We are looking for a parent donation of $5 or so to put together a themed basket for your child’s classroom. We also welcome any completed baskets that families would like to contribute on their own!
Our award-winning Cobb School Garden program brings each one of our students into the school garden each week. No part of our garden program is funded by our school district. Therefore, we have to raise the funds ourselves. Luckily, we are able to raise almost all of the funds we need by holding a silent auction and live dessert auction at the Moore Family Winery Crab Boil.
Some of the most popular items at our silent auction are the themed classroom baskets. Parents donate items and/or funds to put together a gift basket to be auctioned at the event. This years basket themes are:
Mrs. Ferguson- gourmet foodie basket, parent lead- Angie Winchester
Mrs. Heywood- spa basket, parent lead- Nicole Cobb
Mr. Krohn- music and art, parent lead- Carolyn Compton
Mr. Weiss- family fun night, parent lead- Helena Welsh
Mrs. Vargas- garden basket, parent lead- Dana Taylor
Mr. Morita- Pot of Gold basket, parent lead- Sam Wood
This is an event that community members look forward to attending, and have enjoyed supporting for many years. We’re grateful for your continued support!
Please return the bottom portion to your child’s teacher or parent lead with any contribution you are able to make. Thank you so much for your help!
