Dear Families,
At a recent Board Meeting, the School Board reviewed the facilities assessment and master plan for the district. The funds coming from Measure H will be going to implementing the mandated and critical needs outlined in the assessment.  The information attached below is for ALL Middletown Sites, not just Cobb Mountain Elementary.
The Facilities Assessment document highlights needed updates to our campus.  The Master Plan document is a summary of the designs created by our consulting architects to employ the district's vision for the future. Not all of the master plan designs will be able to be implemented with funds from Measure H, but the plan will help us establish where our future buildings will be located so we can avoid using those areas of our campuses for other purposes.
John Greenly is slated to be at our next board meeting on February 13th at the Middletown High School at 7 pm to discuss some next steps with the bond process. I hope you find the attached documents (which are sizable), useful to get acquainted with how this process will unfold.
Sincerely,
David Leonard
