NEW PTO Officers needed!

We need your help! Cobb Mountain Elementary’s PTO will be in need of new officers next school year.   We will have a candidate forum on April 24th. If you’re interested, please prepare to speak to PTO members about why you want to be involved, and what you hope to bring to the PTO.  We will need a president, vice president, a treasurer, and communications officer. The goal is to have each officer serve a two year term, but there are no term limits. Nicole Cobb will be stepping down as president of the PTO at the end of this school year. Thank you Nicole for your help and support. Ballots will go out on the 25th, and are due back on May 9th.

Our annual Penny Wars contest runs from Monday, March 4 - Friday, March 8th. Large jars will be placed outside of each classroom during morning recess and snack recess only. All the pennies and dollar bills that are placed in your class jar go towards your class.  Silver coins go against your class. Please don't send bills larger than a dollar. Morning recess and snack recess are the times you can play the game.

See's Candy order forms should be going home next week.

There will be an art show at the end of March (3/28/19 at 6 pm) at Cobb Elementary. The theme is SPRING. Classes will be doing projects around this theme, and student artwork done at home is also welcome and encouraged.

The next PTO meeting will take place on March 27th at 9 am in room 8. We will be voting on a potential PTO family membership fee of $25 per year, and whether to pursue getting a school sign to put in the traffic circle to announce upcoming events for the cost of about $1000. Please come and join us!
