School Site Council Members Needed

Dear Families,

We need YOU to participate in our School Site Council. The School Site Council is an oversight committee that meets monthly on Fridays to look at the effectiveness of our academic goals, budgeting, and reviews our safety plan. We are legally obligated to have a balanced membership consisting of both parents and staff members. In short, we need the help of five parents/guardians to serve on this year’s council. Some of our council members are not able to participate for a second year, so we need your help. Please let me know if you’re willing to participate. We plan on meeting on the following dates (Fridays at 8 am in room 8). If you’re not able to be a voting member, you are still welcome to attend our meetings, but we need a consistent set of members in order to vote on any proposed actions.
