Stormy Weather Protocol

Dear Families,

The forecast for the end of this week is predicting snow.  We want you to be prepared.  Here is our stormy weather protocol.

Thanks,

David Leonard

In the event of a school closure due to stormy weather: The MUSD office will make a determination as to school closure as early as possible on a school day. An auto-dialer phone call/text/email will go out to parents/guardians to the contact info we have on file. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR INFINITE CAMPUS INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE. If you are unable to go online and update, please call/email Karen Huff in the Cobb office at karen.huff@middletownusd.org or 987-1450, or send a written note with your student.

In the event that a school closure is deemed necessary after students arrive on campus, we will also contact you via auto-dialer. School bus transportation will be determined according to weather conditions. If your student normally rides the bus, please be prepared to pick up your student as soon as possible if bus service is not available. The Stormy Weather hotline is 987-4149. Please add this into your phone’s contact list.
